Old Time Revival Clock Repair is a second generation clock repair and restoration business. In 1965 Linda's father received an old clock as a gift. He was informed by a local jeweler that the clock was not worth fixing. Nevertheless, her father began gaining the knowledge that led not only to the repair of that clock but thousands to come. When Linda was 15 she began helping her father repair and restore clocks, and developed a keen interest in antiques and their restoration. In the beginnning Linda did what her dad called the 'Dirty Work'. The clamping, gluing, replacing square nails in old cases, cutting glass, mending cuckoo bellows and so on. Then Linda began to acquire her own antique clocks and her father said, "You want them, you learn to fix them." So she had the rare privilege of being trained by her father and going on to become one of the few women to own and operate her own clock restoration business.
The knowledge of Linda in the mechanics, motion, case restoration and knowledge of historical periods, the restoration work of Old Time Revival is unequaled. The extensive training in hands on and a life long personal interest in antiques and woodworking add up to state of the art restorative work. Proper and correct in all respects. Old Time Revival is one of the few shops doing Herschede rebuilds and has been a Howard Miller/Ridgeway Service Center since 1990. We have designed and constructed large industrial clocks for corrosive environments and adverse weather conditions.
We can also help you find that special clock to keep time in your
life, from the most rare and exotic to the more often seen and
loved clocks from your memories. Just call us to visit about the
